So this photo popped up in my Facebook memories today.
8 years ago ...my 40th birthday.
The first thing I see is my beautiful baby girl just 8 months old looking all chubby and healthy. She was absolutely perfect and still is.
The second thing I see is this scrawny, skinny woman who only 8 months ago had her 3rd child. Looking thin and gaunt
Have you tried one of those “detox” diets that had you drinking tea for days on end?
You lost weight didn’t you?
I’ll tell you why you lost weight.
You cut out :
-the take away food
-potato cakes from the cafe down stairs from your office
-the mars bars you buy every time you fill up for petrol
-the Friday night pizza and
Do you find yourself looking in the mirror and comparing yourself to someone else? How many of us do this? I know I have plenty of times and still do. The problem here is we start to lose focus on our own goals. We take our focus and energy away from us and put it into someone else and what seems like the perfect body or someone getting better results than us. We start beating ourselves
At first it was really uncomfortable.
I didn’t like the thought of being a beginner.
I’d never stepped foot into a gym EVER!
I used to exercise in my bedroom.
I had no idea where to start or what to do.
But I started.
I kept going.
It became a habit.
I created a new routine.
I began to crave it.
I loved the reward.
I will always be a woman of integrity!
If you come to me wanting help to change your body shape and improve how you feel about yourself I will always tell you what you actually need and not what you want to hear.
I could easily sell you a 12 week plan for a quick buck.
But...a quick buck for me and a quick fix for you is not helping either of us.
Can you spot reduce bodyfat??

All we have in our tool kit is the ability to work on the habits that are holding us back, stay consistent with our training, reduce our stress levels, get enough sleep each day an
I used to be known for my love of chocolate.
Dark, white and milk ..It didn’t really matter.
In my 20’s and even in to my 30’s I could get away with indulging in it every single day. Heaps of it infact.
I used to tell myself it was ok, I exercise a lot so I deserve it.
It was my way of rewarding myself for being a good little exercise bunny.
I have a confession to make .... Sometimes I feel like my own little science experiment.
You might feel the same through your own transformation journey.
Have you tried something for a little while to see if you could get a result only to end up tired and frustrated ?
I admit that was me last year.
Burnt out, tired, frustrated and rather lost.
