I have a confession to make ....
Sometimes I feel like my own little science experiment.
You might feel the same through your own transformation journey.
Have you tried something for a little while to see if you could get a result only to end up tired and frustrated ?
I admit that was me last year.
Burnt out, tired, frustrated and rather lost.
I like to think of these comparison photos as my personal science experiments.
Photo A- the let’s only put 50% effort in experiment for 6 months and see what can be achieved. I’ll still lift weights and do a little cardio but I’ll be really lazy with my food and food prep. Plus I’ll let lots of little extras creep back in.
Photo B - well experiment A didn’t work so now I’m really frustrated so let’s try experimenting with a different style of training for 4 months. Everyone else is doing it so why shouldn’t I ? And hey those athletes look so fit, strong and ripped ...so do THAT!
This experiment only sent me backwards. I was more tired, fatigued and frustrated than ever before. Why wasn’t it working!
Photo C - experiment B was a total flop! So now I’m going back to what I was doing in photo A but I’m going to focus 100% on what I put in my mouth and I’m only going to train for 4 hours per week and do my weight training days separate to my intense cardio days.

Is this making me feel better?
Is this making me function better?
Is this making me look better?
These are the exact questions I asked myself after months of frustration and what I thought was failure.
