"I'm so confused there is so much information out there and I just don't know who or what to trust!"
I totally agree! There are so many books and diet programs out there on how to lose weight, burn body fat, change your body shape all of that ….but how do you know which is the right one to get sustainable results?
Nutrition is such a “grey” area for so many people. There are 1000’s of diet and nutrition programs written by so called “experts” with varying degree of recommendations.
It makes the job of losing weight, changing your body composition (less fat more muscle) VERY hard.
If at some point you come across a diet or someone recommends one to you ..ask yourself does it meet the 3 rules of “the golden triangle”.?
To be effective over the long term any nutrition plan/diet must meet these 3 objectives-
1. First it must promote optimum health - make you feel better, improve your immunity and promote vitality.
2. It must ensure better daily performance- train better, recover better, have endless amount of energy - do life better every single day.
3. It has to improve your body shape (less body fat,more toned shapely muscle) for the long term not just for 4 weeks.
Ask yourself ..can I sustain this way of eating for the rest of my life?
Any decent plan or diet must meet these 3 objectives or the benefits if any are short lived. You may get a quick result from cutting out food groups, following a meal plan ,buying low calorie pre made meals but the rebound effects once you back to "normal" take YEARS to turn around.
Take any diet and apply these 3 simple rules and 99% of them are ruled out immediately.
If it ticks all the boxes -
✔️improves your health and makes feel better
✔️improves how you perform at life on a daily basis
✔️improves how your body looks (changes your shape)
Then you’re onto a winner.
